Welcome. As a family therapist, I am passionate about coming alongside families to support them through lives moments. I work with children from zero to 12 years old and their families, but especially enjoy working with new families on the big transition to parenthood. Making room in the family unit for a new baby is exciting but can be stressful and a challenge at times. There are many changes in the families life during this time and it is helpful and reassuring to have someone come alongside you to support and encourage this change. I often work with families on issues of connecting, sleep struggles, fussiness, parent stress, postpartum depression, parent relationship struggles, and others. I help create change through play, art, conversation, and connection with caregivers.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) & Infant Mental Health (IMH) therapist. I utilize a systemic approach in treatment of families, exploring identified concerns in terms of relationships and social environments. I strive to hold you, so you can hold your child.
I am strengths based and future orientated in my therapy perspective. I utilize interventions from Family Systems Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Play Therapy, as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT).
