Prenatal Barre

Prenatal barre classes incorporate work on flexibility, posture, core and strength. Barre workouts generally combine traditional ballet barre work with yoga, strength training and Pilates-style moves. Barre classes also use a variety of equipment such as light handweights, the barre itself and small inflatable core stability balls. Studios and instructors offering barre classes for pregnant individuals will be trained in prenatal modifications for safety.
